Venue 360 in Luton, Bedfordshire, is home to the Bedford Tennis Development Academy, an accessible tennis venue for players of all ages and abilities.

The first tennis courts were installed in 1998 using the Matchplay 2 surface from Playrite. As an approved supplier, Playturf were well positioned to help Venue 360 replace all six outdoor courts with the same material.

Matchplay 2 was an ideal choice with its high fibre and low sand content offering minimal maintenance requirements; classified to ITF category 3, medium pace rating the surface provides good grip, durability and comfort under-foot and minimal settling-in time.

The academy now has six superb courts from which they can continue to develop the stars of tomorrow.
